This 8 April to 12 May, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is championing healthcare workers across Australia and the incredible work they do – and it wouldn’t be possible without donors from our <Name> Lifeblood Team.
Did you know that blood donation plays an essential role in over 25 medical fields? From providing life-giving transfusions to recipients in need to supporting ICU nurses who are treating trauma injuries, blood donors play a key part in helping healthcare workers do their jobs every day.

Lifeblood has partnered with Melbourne artist Lisa Gorman to bring you an exclusive blood donor bandage inspired by Lisa’s beautiful artwork.
Before her career in design, Lisa worked in the blood collection department of the kidney transplant unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. “Knowing first-hand how vital the supply of donated blood is to those needing it, I really encourage anyone who can, to roll up their sleeves.”
