MESSAGE FROM CENTRE MANAGER

Hi Retailers,

I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone for your understanding and patience during the recent cyclone and the aftermath. The safety of our shoppers and retail staff was paramount in the decision to temporarily close the centre. Since then, our dedicated team have been working tirelessly to ensure all repairs are completed so we can return to normality.

On a positive note, we are putting the final touches on the Convenience Mall project and currently addressing some final defects. These final works should mostly occur outside trading hours however please let us know if there is any noise or mess within your area. We're especially excited to welcome our new tenants and kiosks who have chosen to join our retail community during this time.

With Easter and school holidays approaching next month, we're working diligently to ensure our facilities are ready to welcome the increased foot traffic these periods typically bring.

MARCH GET OUTLET SALE

A huge THANK YOU to the 100+ retailers that took part in our second ever MARCH Get Outlet Sale! It was a great success with an 8% uplift in foot traffic from the 2024 March Get Outlet Sale weekend. 

We will assess the future dates of our Get Outlet Sale over the coming weeks and supply the FY26 sale dates in our next Retailer Marketing Strategy (available from May 31), however you can still look forward to our next Get Outlet Sale in early June.

EASTER ACTIVITY

Easter falls at the end of the school holidays this year, so we will have two weeks of Easter school holiday fun at our Chocolate Fuel Station. This two-week program features daily rotating activities including bubble art demonstrations, face painting, magician performances, and several scheduled appearances by the Easter Bunny in the week preceding Easter Sunday. More information and session times available via our website.

TOURISM UPDATE

We recently wrapped up successful tourism roadshow missions in Taiwan and New Zealand. 

Our Tourism Executive Ethan Cole, met with over 250 buyers and travel agents across Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, while Retail & Tourism Marketing Manager Madeleine West, connected with 100+ inbound tour operators in Taipei.

We also supported Experience Gold Coast in promoting Jetstar’s new Dunedin and Hamilton flights, launching June 2025, which will make Gold Coast Airport the most connected Australian destination to New Zealand.
