MESSAGE FROM CENTRE MANAGER

Hi Retailers, 

As you may have noticed, our information kiosk is in the process of being permanently removed. In the meantime, we kindly ask that all customer enquiries be directed to the Tourism Lounge. Further updates regarding our new and improved customer service experience for the centre will be shared soon — stay tuned!

Our March Get Outlet Sale was a fantastic result for the centre, and we hope the increased foot traffic translated into strong sales for your store. Thank you for your continued support and participation in making the event such a success. 

Looking ahead, Easter is fast approaching, bringing with it a busy trading period as customers take advantage of the long weekend — followed closely by the school holiday period, which historically drives strong visitation across the centre. We encourage you to plan your promotions, stock and staffing accordingly to make the most of what is shaping up to be a highly active few weeks. We look forward to supporting you through this exciting period.

MARCH GET OUTLET SALE

A huge THANK YOU to the 100+ retailers that took part in our first Get Outlet Sale of the year! It was a great success with a 2% uplift in foot traffic from the 2025 March Get Outlet Sale weekend. 

We will assess the future dates of our Get Outlet Sale over the coming weeks and supply the FY27 sale dates in our next Retailer Marketing Strategy (available from May 31), however you can still look forward to our next Get Outlet Sale in early June.

EASTER ACTIVITY AND TRADING HOURS

Easter falls at the start of the school holidays this year, the Easter Bunny will be hopping around the centre on Saturday 4 April handing out easter egg to customers.

Members of centre management will be visiting all shops during March to discuss the procedures with your team.

TOURISM UPDATE

It’s been a busy Lunar New Year period, with international visitors up 12% year-on-year across January and February.

The Harbour Town team also attended the Tourism & Events Queensland Roadshow in Sydney, completing 50 eight-minute appointments with key international trade partners.

There’s also positive news on the aviation front, with China Eastern increasing flights from Shanghai to Brisbane to daily services from June, strengthening connectivity from China.
